WOW! Amazing shot. I LOVE these kinds of photos that make you think...

I didn't know how it was going to turn out because I was trying to be extremely subtle so as not to make anyone uncomfortable. Generally I can take a photo standing right next to a person without them realizing, but still...I wanted to be somehow respectful and not get faces or anything.

this is one very cool shot. although you can only see them from the back, they look like a very happy family.

Thanks for visiting! There seemed to be a whole community of Amish there at the zoo. The children seemed to enjoy themselves, although I was trying not to be one of those staring types. One of my favorite moments was when I was taking pictures of a bear and I could feel someone watcing me. I looked right beside me, and a teenage Amish girl was smiling so sweetly at me. I wanted so much to take her picture, but I just enjoyed the moment and smiled back.

What a GREAT capture!

What is Leaning Tripod?

My photoblog began in early 2005. I am very passionate about photography, but more about 'the eye' of it than the technical side. I love to share my view of the world, and this is the small space where I choose to do just that.
