How can you have gotten such detail? That's amazing! Very nice. Heck, I'm proud of the silly digital shots of the cherry blossoms I took this afternoon, and they're nothing to write home about. But I've never been a great photographer, and you always have been!

How did you the bee so close up?!!! That is totally cool. I can't believe how you got its wings and stuff. Incredible!

Hey, you should show off your beautiful photos here: http://www.shuttermap.com/

Thanks for the comments! To answer Sally-Anne and Sarah's question, my Nikon 5700 has an 8x zoom. There is quite a bit of patience and concentration involved, I suppose, and those chubby little bees move pretty slow as well. =)

Wait, sorry...the optical zoom is 8x. The digital zoom is another 4x, making it a 32x zoom. I believe that's what I was using for the bee shot.

What is Leaning Tripod?

My photoblog began in early 2005. I am very passionate about photography, but more about 'the eye' of it than the technical side. I love to share my view of the world, and this is the small space where I choose to do just that.
