This is so neat! I'd love to hear the story behind the pic? :)

I wish I had a really great story for you, Sarah. Basically, I was nearing the end of my degree and working on my portfolio. This was at one of the many, many horse/4H type of things they do at the Expo Center in Abilene. I wandered around, and a family was doing all sorts of things to prepare this beautiful horse and didn't mind my taking lots of pictures. This was taken back in '99, but looking at it I would love to take more horse pics!

tracey,
love the horse picture!!

my photo is large for 2 reasons,
1) the original size was already pretty large
2) while typing up my post, i typed in the pic html, then waited for the picture to appear as an actual image rather than html code. (One way to do this is by clicking in the upper right hand corner of the post box 'edit html' and then back to 'compose'). i then used the cursor to resize the pic. there's also a way to do this with html, i'm too lazy to figure out how. :)

hope this helps and that i didn't confuse you!

I think I get it...thanks, Sarah!

tracey I think you started at trend. My sister is so gung ho for it now, and I'm totally gonna start one as soon as school gets out. Hey I remember seeing you take pictures at my sister's wedding (that was you right?) and I never thought I'd have the guts to go for it too, but here I am slaving away in the JMC department. It's Friday night, and I'm working on building a website...sigh...

Don't work too hard, Rachel! Yes, that was me that took your sister's wedding pics. Wish I could go back and do a better job on a lot of them, but...oh well. =)

just strolling through and thought this was a great shot (all the other ones since this one are pretty damn cool too)

I love your perspective on all your photographs. I'm striving to someday do the same.

Great site!

What is Leaning Tripod?

My photoblog began in early 2005. I am very passionate about photography, but more about 'the eye' of it than the technical side. I love to share my view of the world, and this is the small space where I choose to do just that.
