Your Mom is beautiful! I love the third photo, what a unique shot. Were these digital?

No, these were film. I took these for a final project seven years ago! My mom has always looked younger than her years and very beautiful. The third is my favorite, although I love her hands in the second, but for the third I had to lie down under the chair, something like that. There were lots of fun photos in this project.

My grandmother has some cane woven chairs, and due to us grandkids when we were younger.. a few of them have holes in them. Does your mom repair chairs?

Hayden, yes my mom does this kind of thing full-time at home. People either find antiques and have them redone, or they bring their own and she canes them. This is pretty much a lost art, so it is very hard to find someone who does this anymore. I am thinking of learning it from her...

What is Leaning Tripod?

My photoblog began in early 2005. I am very passionate about photography, but more about 'the eye' of it than the technical side. I love to share my view of the world, and this is the small space where I choose to do just that.
